Summer is almost here. soon the salmon will be returning to the rivers to fulfill their obligations. From bringing nutrients to the forests, feeding hungry bears, and filling families freezers, their ability to nourish is amazing. King Salmon, once abundant in the Kenai, are not as plentiful as they once were. This final Paint Night of the spring season pays homage to the mighty Kenai River King in the hopes that one day we may see them in abundance again.
