Paint Your Pet Night!
We are back with this ever popular event, Paint Your Pet Night! This one is a lot of fun and especially good for beginners and old pros alike. Even those who have not painted in a while, or have been hesitant to try can handle this! With a pre-sketched outline to use as a framework, you’ll be off to a great start unleashing your inner artist.
Alaskan Autum Paint Night
Driving down the Glenn Highway this time of year when the colors are changing is a great way to take in the splendor of the season. This painting is inspired by some of the views that can be found out that way, with the sun hanging low over the Chugach Mountains to the south as lakes sparkle in the tundra. Fall is short here, so enjoy it while it lasts!
Mushroom Paint Night 9/18
Next week’s Paint Night is inspired by my trip to Girdwood last weekend to check out the Turnagain Arm Mycological Society’s Mushroom Festival. Afterwards, a walk on Winner Creek trail revealed many different mushrooms popping up all over the forest floor.

Hey folks, I hope everyone is doing their best on this surprisingly nice Monday afternoon.
This Thursday I will be hosting the Octopus Paint Night at Sip Cafe. There are plenty of spots left open, so come on out, grab a refreshment, and lets put some color on canvas!
Next Thursday, 9/18 I will be back at Sip for a mushroom themed paint night. I was inspired by going to Girdwood last weekend and checking out some of the Mushroom Festival activities. More to come on that tomorrow!
I am actively working on upgrading the paint night gear/supplies and have just received new mixing pallets that are reusable and will make a great addition to my goal of creating a more sustainable painting experience.
